Our Mission at Youth Try Fitness
is to Educate, Equip and Empower Children and their families to become more
active. Through our partnership with Youth Tri Series we will help combat Childhood Obesity and
Cardio-Vascular diseases by helping children follow proper training and AGE-appropriate
workout programs.

Youth Try Fitness is a 501(c)(3) Non Profit corporation and is intended for ages 6 to 16. Our program allows you to download, view and understand the correct terms and techniques for the specific exercise program for your child. We provide motivational tips, and share success stories. We can help make fitness a life-long habit for your child.
Our children eat and drink too much sugar, consume too many empty calories, and don't eat enough of the good things they need, especially fresh fruits and vegetables. Because of this, our children will be at risk of developing degenerative diseases like heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and stroke at a much younger age.
As parents, we work hard to give our children every possible advantage in life. Yet too often we don't have the time (or don't make the time) to look after their nutritional health. We're too busy. We don't completely understand what eating right means to ourselves. And we're battling some pretty formidable enemies like junk food and fast food. We must also become fitness coaches for our children. This entails having a set exercise time with the right exercises for the right age, realistic goals, on-going rewards, and lots of recognition for a job well done. By using YouthTryFitness, we can help you do all of these things.
The Center for Disease Control predicts that 1/3 of the children being born today will have diabetes because of poor fitness habits.
For the first time an adult's life expectancy is longer than their child's.
Cancer is killing more children today than any other disease.
Over the last 20 years, the number of overweight children has increased by more than 50%, and the number of extremely overweight children has nearly doubled.
40 million American children have abnormally high cholesterol levels.
By the age of 12, an estimated 70% of our children have developed the beginning stages of hardening of the arteries.
Habits formed early in life are far more likely to be sustained.
Fit kids are better students and are happier socially.
